YOU KNOW HOW TO LOVE ME / LET SOMEONE LOVE YOU (DIMITRI FROM PARIS SUPER DISCO BLEND)
12 Inch 06.03.18
following on from the runaway success of le-edits number 1, dimitri eases us into 2018 with style and grace by presenting us with another fine set of reworkings from deep within the vaults. in this era of cheap and nasty bootlegs, badly looped breakdowns and bedroom producers butchering the classics with no soul or quality control it was time for a change, an antidote. le-edits is exactly that, a platform for dimitri to express his appreciation of this most influential musical artform in the best way possible - utilising the master tapes, pressing onto virgin vinyl, taking extra care with the label aesthetics and everything else in-between. what you hold in your hands is a labour of love, a journey! once the needle hits the groove and you re immersed in the music it will all make sense, you will feel the force of the chic in the music!
MAKE SOMEONE FEEL HAPPY / FREE (ALEX ATTIAS EDITS)
12 Inch 16.02.18
lillygood party! is returning with the 3rd instalment of their officially licenced re-edits.
both tracks here are classics dancefloors tunes , nothing rare, just favourite tunes that alex and stéphane played for many years.
on the a side the two tons version is much longer than the original, and remastered for a full effect on the dancefloor. we love this tune so much, we played it a lot already and its still rocking so we thought we share it with you on a fat 12inch for more disco soul gospel pleasure.
the b side is an amazing track from seawind that everybody who is into jazz funk or latin jazz with vocals will dig it. this version is different than the original, we kept only the more dancefloor friendly parts and we extended the beginning and end of the track with only drum rhythmic reprogrammed for mixing easily in your sets with other tunes. please enjoy as much as we do because we love those edits, we love those tunes, we love music we are very happy with this release because its really really good!
someone outside takes us on a journey into space with three pieces of shimmering and emotive techno. constellation opens the ep with a broken rhythm, sizzling hats and shimmering chord stabs. forbidden planet mixes driving percussion patterns with a deep pads. lost city resolves the ep with an energetic bassline and arpeggio hook.
the arms of someone new fearlessly mix genres without sacrificing the unity of their vision. “’susan sleepwalking’ could as well be retitled ‘music for interiors’ - both architectural and of the mind” - the michigan daily 1985. all songs have been remastered for vinyl by george horn at fantasy studios in berkeley. housed in the original jacket featuring a blood red-tinted photograph with ghostly textures. each copy includes a 2-sided 11” square insert with lyrics and press clippings from the band’s archive.
we ve all been there, spending endless hours searching, listening, skipping thru tracks and trying to find at least one good one. no more. we ve made it easy for you... tune is all about that one track, the track that will bring the heat. no remixes, radio edits or excess dubs. it s all very simple, one track, one really awesome tune. that s all. the plot thickens, who is theo walbeck?? but maybe it s not that important, after all the music is the key figure and speaks for itself. this is theo s follow up to freek tool which was one of disclosures most played tracks in 2016 and goes down a similar path. in our humble opinion this is an even stronger track and something that is just waiting to get some heavy isolator action. someone 2night got that dark and vintage warehouse feel mixed up with some soulful cut up vocals and lush strings that is just perfect to drop at peak hour. those rumbling drums will cause some serious damage...believe dat!
with a new ear marked 4 tracker, cmd q drives kann back into another collaboration. aside from the continuation of his growing musical signature he has succeeded in connecting a personal dedication with a strong convincing musical statement. trippy, & melancholic interpretations of techno.
nach seiner *you are the star* debüt-ep auf compost disco letztes jahr präsentiert ed lee hier erneut eine mit einer guten portion funk beladene boogie-discoide ep. auf der b-seite steuerte wunderkind damiano von erckert (ava.) einen top abgefahrenen broken uptempo remix bei!
new to the stay underground it pays gang, the eighth release on the label comes from none other than octo octa! you know him from his prolific run on 100% silk, and more recently for his ep on gerd jansons running back label at the top of the year. the man from brooklyn serves up 4 slices of that u.s. experimental house sound we love so much. on the a side, we have two versions of octo octa’s melancholic title track, requiem for the body. both as good as the other, it’s gonna be split for a lot of listeners on which is better. while both versions share certain elements, the second plays down the long keys of the first versions in favour of some stabby chord patterns. either way, proper 4 a.m. business!on the flip, we get a bit more ethereal with times two (loose version). simple yet effective, this one has a lot of atmosphere with those delayed vocal cuts over that late 80s bassline. closing out the record is when home. this one is a bit of a stomper at first until it brings in the lighter synth elements halfway through. someone, somewhere will have an epiphany listening to this track. if its you reading this, send in the results on the back of a postcard. all in all, another killer release that feels straight at home in the stay underground it pays catalogue
after his amazing collab with stee downes, nicholas is back for another fine deep house tune. this time usa singer shaun j. wright delivers some soul-drenched vocals. love someone is simply breathtaking. chceck out the slightly rougher underground mentality dub! on the flip the italian producer serves you with an atmospheric and melodious techno track called message and a discofied bomb called j.u.n.e.
isnisnt offers its second release of forward leaning electronics with a diverse group of modern techno from label head jesse siminski. acting under his heartthrob guise, jesse initiates the release with someone called again a tough, but funky, bass driven tune that marries detailed production with his signature ominous melodies to great effect.
another fantastic re issue from the kms vaults. marc kinchen aka mk steps up to the plate with the timeless someone new. re released in original 1989 artwork. the b sides are worth the ticket price alone with mk combining hardcore rave stabs with jackin beats and detroit synths.
killekill 017 by neil landstrumm is a three tracker with no less than three hits on it. the a-side is a dark slammer about someone trading his ass for drugs in a new acid / disco / synthwave / techno fusion style with an undisputed chicago flavour in it. what a hit!

adam port redefines the number 13 as a number to love with this high quality release from the keinemusik camp ... top! including strong vinyl only track: >i love you<. we love you, too!
dont, whatever you do, dismiss this as a run of the mill re-edit re-hash of some of the gibb brothers finest work. far from someone with a laptop chopping and changing classics as they see fit, this ep casts the original studio multi tracks of three disco standards from saturday night fever into the capable hands of the hands of time family and what theyve come up with is head turning, double take inducing, dance floor weaponry of the highest order.filippo moscatello, aka dj naughty, is first up with his dreamy extended version of night fever. stayin alive gets dubbed to within an inch of its life and comes up smiling courtesy of hot mainstay kon and his mr whiskey dub treatment and last but not least the reflex get the pleasure of working with the classic horn and conga riff off that is you should be dancing.top drawer,high-grade fodder for the forthcoming christmas party season and a sure fire winner for the wedding disco dj alter ego that resides within all of us.
someones gonna break your heart is the second 7-inch vinyl single from fountains of wayne’s long-awaited new album, sky full of holes. the vinyl single includes the non-album b-side song of the passaic, an ode to the toilet river that meanders through northern new jersey.

3x12 Inch 11.07.11
excellent marek hemmann bundle! >only our hearts to lose< double 12 inch lp by marian aka marek hemmann and fabian reichelt plus >left/right< ep + various fat stickers!
>only our hearts to lose< is a nice, shining character between the club and the balcon. tollen ablum der beiden zum immer wiedr hören und neu entdecken für club und wohnzimmer ... tolles album
from the very start, track one the first thirteen minutes of love opens the album with over ten minutes of ambient unlike anything you’ve heard in years, a long, elegiac composition somewhere between carl craig and the chill-out zone at a bygone rave. it’s a warning: take a deep breath before being swept away by eight tracks that span detroit and berlin, front 242 and carl craig, linking them via soaring trance, carefully-crafted minimal, the sound of the 90s, the sound of the new millennium. it’s hard to imagine the strike force and heart pangs it will inevitably inflict on any club in the know
nice price deal !!! aka jks first release on throne of blood is a reflection of years in basement with sequencers, apartments with macintoshes, van front seats with laptops and international flights with xanex and most importantly his long-standing friendship with the rapture boys, culminating in this vito roccoforte produced stinger. its a world-wide dedication to all his dj friends who rock it out night after night, luring people from their broadband lives to sweat it out and transcend in clubs, bars on beaches and venues across the planet.
